Two different matches but thankfully both winning results see Wembley Juniors book 2 teams into grand final deciders this weekend.
Our Year 11/12 Boys were challenged in the first half being more than 3 goals down at half time. Then a 5-goal straight blitz after the main break saw them turn the tables on Yanchep and run out 10pt winners 10.4.64 to 8.6.54. They now take on Quinns this week.
While in the Year 8 Boys match, North Beach Red got the jump on Wembley by kicking the first 2 goals with the breeze. Wembley then pegged it back to lead by a goal at half time. From there the boys did well to control most of the game although could have done a lot more damage on the scoreboard had they been a little more accurate before eventually running out winners 8.11.59 vs 7.3.45. This weekend they will play North Beach Gold.
